A family-run business, Appledore Turkeys has a farming heritage dating back to 1940 when Grandfather Frank Wreathall first started rearing turkeys. Today Clive and Andrew Wreathall farm over 1,200 hectares of Crown Estate farmland on the Romney Marsh in Kent and are passionate about the food they produce.
Dewar Green developed a website for Appledore Turkeys that combines the on-line sale of traditional farm-fresh turkeys with interesting cooking tips for the festive season. The website features a sophisticated search tool for finding of stockists for the award winning turkeys throughout the United Kingdom. It also displays a plentiful list of succulent recipes for those Boxing Day leftovers. Wonderful images of the working farm are displayed on the home page via the Instagram feed.
